Emerald Junction to Borden-Carleton

This 18.5 km stretch of the Confederation Trail begins in Emerald at Route 232 to Borden-Carleton. The communities that the Confederation Trail passes through are Emerald, Kinkora, Albany and Borden-Carleton.

Trail Features

  • There is an activity centre with year round public washrooms available in Emerald.
  • The Bedeque Bay Environmental Management Association is located in Emerald and has an Interpretive Centre highlighting the projects and work they do.
  • The Municipality of Kinkora has several services for Confederation Trail users, including restaurants, a service station, bakery, and public access to computers and the Internet.
  • There is a park and a post office located in Albany.
  • Borden-Carleton has a provincial Visitor Information Centre and is home to Gateway Village.
