The following statements outline the policy regarding copyright and privacy on the www.gov.pe.ca
and related websites of the Province of PEI.
Unless otherwise specifically stated herein, all text, graphics, maps, photographs and other material are
the property of the Government of Prince Edward Island. All rights reserved.
The Government of Prince Edward Island is committed to protecting your privacy. Information you supply,
including your e-mail address, is considered confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of the Government
of Prince Edward Island without your knowledge or consent.
The information you provide is collected by the Government of Prince Edward Island to serve you better.
You may receive email newsletters, updates or research calls based on the interests and/or willingness to participate
you've indicated. You may of course at any time opt out of these services. Access to computer data and files is
secured by password coding and is controlled by the Government of Prince Edward Island.
From time to time, the Government of Prince Edward Island may invite you to enter contests. The
information collected from participants will also be considered confidential. The only exception is that contest
winners must be publicly identified.

Tourism PEI uses pixels, or transparent GIF files, to help manage online advertising. These GIF files are provided by our ad management partners, DoubleClick and 24/7 Real Media. These files enable DoubleClick and/or 24/7 Real Media to recognize a unique cookie on your Web browser, which in turn enables us to learn which advertisements bring users to our website. The cookie was placed by us, or by another advertiser who works with DoubleClick and/or 24/7 Real Media. With both cookies and Spotlight technology, the information that we collect and share is anonymous and not personally identifiable. It does not contain your name, address, telephone number, or email address.
