Strathgartney Provincial Park

This park offers an excellent location near all the main attractions. Borden-Carleton, Summerside and Cavendish are all only a half-hour away and Charlottetown is a 20-minute drive from Strathgartney. Strathgartney has one of the most beautiful scenic views of all the provincial parks with campsites located high on a hill overlooking the Strathgartney River. At the park you can enjoy a walk on the nature trail, or play a round of frisbee golf.
Nearby attractions include the Car Life Museum, St. Catherines Cove Canoe Rental Inc., the Clyde River Golf Club and Victoria by the Sea.
On TransCanada Highway, 20 km west of Charlottetown. The park is open from mid June to the end of September and features playground equipment, hot showers (4), flush toilets (10), two kitchen shelters and a dumping station. The beach is only a short 8 km away. A camper's store is 3 km away. Pets permitted on leash. Loan-out recreation equipment is available. Accommodations: 40(u); 22(2w). Daily: $19(u) and $22(2w). 132 acres.
