Crab Chowder

1 - 6 oz/170 g pkg. rock crab meat
2 tbsp/25 ml butter
1/2 cup/125 ml finely chopped onion
1/4 cup/125 ml diced celery
2 tbsp/25 ml flour
1/2 tsp/2 ml salt
1/4 tsp/1 ml pepper
3 cups/750 ml milk
1 - 10 oz/284 ml can of cream of mushroom soup
1 - 12 oz/341 ml can corn
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add onion and celery; saute until soft. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk and cream of mushroom soup. Heat, then add corn, bacon and crab meat. Simmer until heated thoroughly. Serves 6-8.
