4 Ounces Cream Cheese
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Cut-up Cherries

Combine ingredients and set aside.

Brownie Layer:

Beat 2 eggs until foamy
3/4 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 Cup Walnuts
1/4 Teaspoon Salt

Melt 1/2 cup butter and stir in 1/4 cup cocoa. Add to above 6 ingredients.
Put half brownie mixture in bottom of pan, and cream cheese mixture and top carefully with remainder of brownie mixture.

Bake in 8 x 8 pan at 325 F.
Chocolate icing may be put on top.
