Cranberry Nut Bread

2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup whole cranberries or whole cranberry sauce
1 cup chopped nuts or less (optional)

Stir dry ingredients into large bowl. Add rest of ingredients and mix only to moisten. Bake in a greased loaf pan or it makes 12 muffins. Bake 350 F hour for loaf (test after 40 minutes) and 20-30 minutes for muffins or until golden brown.
