Cranberry Wine Sauce
Submitted by Joyce Mokler, Winchester, Mass.I have been living in Massachusetts since 1963, and have had this
recipe since about 1971. I have given it to many Island friends.
It's delicious with turkey or chicken and is a great substitute
for cranberry sauce with Christmas dinner. And the beauty of it
is that it takes only 20 minutes or less to make.
4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
2 cups white sugar
1 cup white wine
Place the above ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook slowly, stirring frequently until berries burst. Cool and refrigerate several hours or over night.
