Eggnog-Poppy Seed Bread

2 1/2 cups all­purpose flour

1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup poppy seed
1 1/4 cup prepared eggnog
1 1/2 Tbsp. grated orange peel
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 egg

Heat oven to 350 F. Grease loaf pan. Mix all ingredients together for 30 seconds, pour into loaf pan and bake 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Loosen sides from the loaf pan and remove from pan. Cool on wire rack.
