Glazed Lemon Loaf

2 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 cup milk
grated peel of half a lemon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. In another bowl,
combine remaining ingredients. Add dry ingredients. Stir until
moistened. Turn into a greased 9x5inch loaf pan. Bake for
60 minutes. When cool, top with lemon glaze. Lemon glaze: 2 Tbsp.
sugar. 2 Tbsp. lemon juice.
Combine sugar and lemon juice and mix until sugar is dissolved.
When loaf is almost cool, spoon mixture over the top.
