1 pkg. semi­sweet chocolate chips
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
11/4 cups icing sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips, with sweetened condensed milk, stir in remaining ingredients. Spread evenly over an 8­inch pan lined with wax paper. Chill until firm. Turn fudge out onto a cutting board, peel off the wax paper, cut into squares. Store at room temperature. Makes about 3/4 lb.

Microwave method: In a 2 qt. glass measure, combine the chips and milk and heat on high for 2 minutes. Stir until chips melt and then add other ingredients. Proceed as above.
