Peanut butter balls have been a tradition in our family (the MacDonalds) for many years. There are many of us girls, and we all make these for our families during the festive season.

2 cups crunchy peanut butter
1/2 cup margarine
3 cups rice krispies
2 cups icing sugar
1 300­g bag chocolate chips
1/4 sq. parowax

Mix together, put into balls and set in the fridge until firm.

Melt the chocolate chips and wax in a double boiler until melted. Dip balls in the chocolate mixture until coated, then put on wax paper on a cookie sheet to cool.
