1 cup softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
11/2 cups flour
1/4 cup cornstarch

Cream butter and sugar in medium bowl, beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour and cornstarch while beating. Beat until light. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 F 12­14 minutes. Makes 21/2 dozen cookies.
