Submitted by Lanna Nicholson, MontagueIt has always been a tradition that we gather at Mom and Dad's
(Lester and Chris Peardon's) on Christmas Eve and enjoy this hearty
seafood chowder among all the family and neighbours. It just wouldn't
be Christmas without doing this!
1 large onion
1/3 cup butter
Melt butter and saute onion.
Then add:
3 cups potatoes, diced
3 cans minced bar clams
1 lb. scallops, cooked and cut up
1 can cold pack lobster, cut up
1 pkg. crabÂflavoured pollock
1 can shrimp
2 cans Perfection Milk
2 litres 2 per cent milk
Heat slowly over low heat. Enjoy with fresh crusty rolls.
