1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 cup all­purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup sweetened coconut
1/2 cup gumdrops (no black)
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream the butter and sugars well. Add the eggs and beat together. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Press into a greased 9x9­inch pan. Bake 25­30 minutes. When cool sprinkle icing sugar over top.
