Speckled Squares - 1999
2/3 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup white sugar
1 1/3 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate (grated)
2 egg whites (beaten stiff)
Mix ingredients in the above order and bake at 350 F. for 20 to 30
minutes. Allow to cool.
Cover with:
1/3 cup margarine (melted)
1 1/2 cup icing sugar
2 egg yolks
Pour over this - 2 squares of melted semi-sweet chocolate.
