Grasshopper Dessert - 1999

3 doz. Oreos 3 tbsp. butter 1/4 cup creme de menthe syrup green food coloring 1 jar Kraft marshmallow creme 1 pint heavy whipping cream Crush oreos (icing and all) and reserve 1/2 cup. Add melted butter to remaining oreo crumbs. Mix well and press in bottom of 9x13" pan that is buttered. Mix marshmallow creme and creme de menthe. Add green food colouring to obtain desired shade. Beat cream stiff and fold into marshmallow mixture. Spread over oreos and level. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top. Cover with foil and freeze. Will keep in freezer well. If partially used put back in freezer soon after cutting as it softens quickly. Remove from freezer about 5 minutes before using. Submitted by Carolyn Phelan, Charlottetown, P.E.I.
