Laura Secord Almond Bark - 1999
1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup almonds with skins on (chopped, save a few crumbs)
Cook and stir in heavy pot until 280 F. Spread on greased cookie sheet. While warm sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips over and spread with back of spoon. Sprinkle with a few almond crumbs.
