2/3 cup butter 1 cup white sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 3 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 cup milk 8 oz coloured hard candy. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Roll out the dough on a floured board. Cut into strips and on a well buttered baking sheet form into window frame. Place candy in a plastic bag. Crush with a meat mallet. Place crushed candies inside window frames. Bake at 350 for 6 minutes, or until candy is melted. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes until candy is hard. Carefully lift off cookies with a spatula. Submitted by Gail Feehan, Cornwall, P.E.I.
