Butter Brickle Dessert - 1999

2 cups flour 1/2 cup oatmeal 1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 cup chopped pecans 1 jar Kraft caramel sauce 1 pt. vanilla ice cream Method: Melt margarine; add flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and pecans. Pat thin on cookie sheet and bake at 400 F for 15 minutes. Crumble while hot and spread half on bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Drizzle half jar of caramel sauce over crumbs. Then spread ice cream over top. Cover with remaining crumbs, then sauce. Freeze. Submitted by Dot Bailey, Souris, P.E.I.
