Holiday Fruit Drops - 1999
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup coarsely chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped candied cherries
1/2 cup chopped candied pineapple
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup flour
Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Beat in egg. Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in separate bowl. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream to butter mixture. Combine nuts and fruit in another bowl. Add 1/4 cup flour and toss with fruit and nuts to coat well. Stir into dough. Drop by teaspoon into prepared cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen
