Jellied Pineapple Salad - 1999

1 cup crushed pineapple(19 oz. drain well)
Use juice and water to make 2 1/2 cups liquid
Heat to boiling and remove from heat. Add 1 large Jello pkg (lime or strawberry)
1 tsp gelatin (Knox)
1 pkg (8 oz) Philadelphia cheese
1/4 cup Miracle Whip
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt

Beat above mixture with egg beater and then add crushed pineapple, 1/2 cup celery (diced) and cherries for colour.

Pour into mold and let set overnight.
