Fudge Squares - 1999
1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/8 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup milk
1 cup nuts or cherries (if desired)
Mix and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Icing:
2/3 cup brown sugar
3 Tbsp. Cream
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/8 cup icing sugar
Combine all ingredients except icing sugar and vanilla in a pan. Heat until boiling point then add icing sugar and beat until thick. Then add vanilla .
