Flaming Plum Pudding - 1999
2 cups raisins
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 cup dates
1/2 cup mixed fruit
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. all spice
1/3 cup molasses
1 cup milk
Method:
Prepare bread crumbs and fruit dust with a small amount of flour. Stir dry ingredients together. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and molasses. Add milk alternately with dry ingredients. Fold in fruit. Steam 2 hours. Freezes well.
