1-4 oz pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup sugar 1 tbsp. grated lemon rind 2 tsp. lemon juice 1 cup flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 cup crushed corn flakes or ground almonds Method: Beat cheese, butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir in lemon rind and juice. Sift together flour baking powder and salt add to cream cheese mixture and blend until smooth. Chill at least one hour. Shape into balls and roll in corn flake crumbs. Place on ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake 350 F. for 12-15 minutes. Do not brown if storing in fridge. Submitted by Dot Bailey, Souris, P.E.I.
