Plum Pudding Brandy Sauce - 1999

1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup flour 2/3 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 cups milk 1/4 cup brandy Method: Melt butter in saucepan. Mix together flour and sugar and blend in butter. Gradually blend in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in brandy. Serve hot on steamed pudding. Makes 2 cups. Submitted by Dot Bailey, Souris, P.E.I.
