Cream Cheese Brownies - 1999

4 oz cream cheese 1 egg 1/2 cup white sugar 2 Tbsp. flour 1/2 cup maraschino cherries (well drained and chopped) Beat cheese and egg well. Blend sugar and flour in gradually. Beat until well blended. Stir in cherries. Set aside. 2 eggs 1 cup white sugar 3/4 cup flour 1/2 cup Nuts 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 cup cocoa 1/2 cup margarine Beat 2 eggs frothy. Add next 4 ingredients. Melt and stir cocoa and butter. Add to egg mixture. Stir well. Spread 2/5 mixture into greased 8x8" pan. Carefully spread cheese filling over. Cover as completely as you can with brownie mixture. Bake 350 F for 30 - 35 minutes till shows signs of pulling away from sides of pan. Icing: 1 1/2 cup icing sugar 1/3 cup cocoa 3 Tbsp. butter 5 tsp. hot water Put together and heat.
