Christmas Shortbread Cookies

1/2 cup cornstarch 1/2 cup icing sugar 1 cup flour 3/4 cup margarine or butter Combine icing sugar, corn starch and flour together. Blend in margarine or butter with two knives or a spoon. Mix into a soft dough. Shape into 1 inch balls or cut out with Christmas shape cookie cutters. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet 1 1/2 inches apart. If making balls flatten with a fork. Bake in 300 oven 20-25 minutes. Decorate with coloured icing or sprinkles. Submitted by Roma Clow, New Haven, P.E.I.
