Almond Crunch

1/4 lb. blanched sliced almonds 1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup white sugar 1 1/2 tbsp. corn syrup Place waxed paper on cookie sheets. Over medium heat, melt the butter. Add sugar, corn syrup and almonds. Stir until golden brown, stirring constantly for 10-15 minutes. Pour mixture onto waxed paper. allow to cool completely. Break into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
