Instant Fudge

1 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 tbsp. margarine 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup evaporated milk 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 3/4 cup chopped unsalted nuts 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Grease an 8" square baking pan. Mix sugar, salt, margarine and milk in large saucepan. Boil mixture over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and stir until chocolate melts. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into prepared pan and cool in fridge for 2 hours. Submitted by Carole MacMillan, Charlottetown, P.E.I.
