
Breton Squares
22 graham wafers (crushed) 2 cups1/2 cup butter
2 tbsp. icing sugar
Put into a buttered 9" pan. Bake at 325 for 5 minutes.
Mix:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups shredded coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1/2 cup cut up cherries
Pour over base and bake at 325 for 35 minutes. Cool.
Frost with:
2 cups icing sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond flavouring
1 tbsp. butter
Add enough milk for spreading consistency.
