1/2 cup butter 1 cup chopped dates 1 cup white sugar 1 egg 2 cups rice krispies cereal 1/2 cup walnuts 1 tsp. vanilla coconut Put butter, dates, sugar and egg in saucepan and cook 10 minutes. Add cereal, walnuts and vanilla. Roll into a ball in the coconut, one at a time, and set in fridge. Submitted by Sue Morrison, Sherbrooke, P.E.I.
