
Metro Credit Union Music PEI Week
Metro Credit Union Music PEI Week 2013 took place from January 25-February 2, 2013. The week is an annual celebration of Island music from East to West, with 25 industry awards given to those who have made their mark on the music industry over the past year.
Signature Events
Nudie's House of Rock 8:00 PM, The Mack Theatre, Tickets: $15
New Music PEI signature event that features a mixture of both established and emerging musical artists. Two bands are set up on stage at the same time, going song for song. Nudie hosts the show and interviews the performers. Featuring Paper Lions, and Two Hours Traffic; Coyote, and The Meds.
Country Jubilee 8:00 PM, Harbourfront Theatre, Tickets: $15
A Metro Credit Union Music PEI Week signature event, presented by Cavendish Beach Music Festival with media sponsor CFCY, features the Island's top country artists along with the presentation of 8 Music PEI Awards.
S.A.C Songwriters Concert 8:00 PM, King's Playhouse, Tickets:$20
One of Metro Credit Union Music PEI Week's most anticipated events, presented by AIRS with media sponsor The Eastern Graphic, features Colin MacDonald, from The Trews along with nominees for SOCAN Songwriter of the Year. Features last year's winner Catherine MacLellan.
Friday Night Live
Presented by Ocean 100, Friday Night Live will see more than 20 acts performing at nine venues around the Island, including Music PEI award nominees Dennis Ellsworth, Gordon Belsher, The Meds and more. See below for full list.

Music PEI Awards GalaThe evening is a true celebration of PEI music featuring awards presentations and full production, high quality musical performances by nominees and special guests. The annual gala is one of the most high profile events on the Island during the winter months. The gala caped off Metro Credit Union Music PEI Week 2013 January 25-February 2.
