Experiences PEI this Winter
Have you ever wanted to try dog-sledding? What about ice fishing in a smelt shack? Or even snowshoeing, cross country skiing or learning to downhill ski? Brookvale Winter Activity Park
Brookvale Winter Activity Park is pleased to announce the launch of their new website, www.brookvaleskipark.com Check out the site for information on current conditions, their 10 alpine runs or their 24.5 km of groomed x-country trails. The site also offers tubing, snowshoeing and tobogganing to help with your outdoor fun. Brookvale is also pleased to have the Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing (CADS) program at the hill. Several sit-skis and other equipment are available and volunteers are always on hand to assist in whatever your needs may be.
Snowmobiling Adventures Await!
The Prince Edward Island Snowmobile Association grooms the Confederation Trail after each snowfall. This island-wide trail system is perfect for avid snowmobilers looking to enjoy some of the Island's most beautiful areas on professionally groomed terrain. Jack Frost Children’s WinterFest
Plan to visit Charlottetown this February 22-24 for the Jack Frost Children’s WinterFest which is now the biggest magical winter weekend east of Quebec City! This year’s Pirate and Princess theme will be seen throughout the snow kingdom, snow sculptures, snow and ice slides, outdoor skating rink, tube runs, and so much more.
