Anne of Green Gables Country Fair
As part of the year-long celebration of Anne’s 100th birthday, come step inside the world of Anne as the characters come to life in true Avonlea style, July 3-6. Enjoy some good old-fashioned fun at our Country Fair, featuring an International Vintage Parade; Green Gables Garden Party; Demonstrations and Displays by local artisans; a Community Picnic with Games and Races; Barn Dance; Kitchen Party; Creative Workshops; Concerts; Theatre; Children’s Entertainers; Re-enactments, and much, much more! This is a celebration Anne fans won’t want to miss!
New Delta Flight!
Beginning June 13th and continuing to September 17th Delta Air Lines regional partner Comair will add new weekend flights for direct non-stop service between New York City and Charlottetown. Getting here has never been easier!
Summerside Highland Gathering
For an "all things Scottish" experience, visit the 2008 Summerside Highland Gathering, June 27-29th. Taking place at the College of Piping in Summerside, this three-day event is a spirited celebration of the Highland Arts of piping, dancing and drumming. Visitors will also enjoy competitions, Celtic entertainment, and children's activities. Don’t forget your camera!
Canada Day Celebrations
