Canada Day in Charlottetown, Canada's Birthplace
This year, plan to celebrate Canada's birthday in Charlottetown - the Birthplace of Confederation - at the Atlantic Superstore Festival of Lights. For visitors looking to take a break from the celebrations, try a stroll through the waterfront setting of Confederation Landing Park, take a walk up historic Great George Street to Province House where Canada was first conceived, or spend a few quiet moments browsing through shops and boutiques at nearby Peake's Wharf. And this year's entertainment lineup is sure to be a hit - Nickelback, Hedley, Buckcherry and Finger Eleven are just some of the bands which will entertain audiences this year.
