A Century of Anne!
As part of the year-long celebration of Anne’s 100th birthday, ANNE-imated has its opening night at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown this coming June 14th. Meet the cast of Canada’s longest running musical Anne of Green Gables - The Musical TM, now in its 44th year. Get behind the scenes with a special tour of the Confederation Centre of the Arts. Engage your children and the child in everyone with a day of activities celebrating 100 years of Anne!
Getting here has never been easier!
On May 1st, 2008 Air Canada Jazz, the regional affiliate of Air Canada, launched their new direct, non-stop service between Ottawa and Charlottetown. This year-round flight will be provided on a daily basis. Air Canada Jass also offers direct flights from Halifax, Montreal and Toronto on a year-round basis. Enter the gates of golf heaven

PEI Wine Festival
Plan to attend the PEI Wine Festival this May 30 and 31st at the Charlottetown Civic Centre. This annual event, hosted by the PEI Liquor Control Commission, allows suppliers to showcase their products and wine enthusiasts have the opportunity to sample many of the products on display. Also, the general public and licensees alike are able to purchase their favourite wines at a 15% discount during the show. Be sure and get your tickets early for this sell-out event!
Lennie Gallant & Rose Cousins
Two of Prince Edward Island’s most popular entertainers are coming home to perform at the Harbourfront Theatre in Summerside on Saturday, May 17th. Singer/songwriters Lennie Gallant and Rose Cousins will be perform together for the first time, each with their own full band of accompaniment with them. These are two Island artists you won’t want to miss!
