It wasn't Christmas until my grandmother, who is now 92, would
come with tins of cookies. She'd have to hide them or they would
somehow disappear!
1 cup butter
1/4 cup icing sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
21/4 to 21/2 cups flour
Salt
Vanilla
Knead in a bowl with hands. Roll out on floured board. Use round or Christmas shaped cutters to cut out the cookies. Bake at 350 F 810 minutes. Watch carefully until golden brown. Enjoy!
