1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped red and green cherries
1/2 cup chopped candied yellow pineapple

Cream first four ingredients until smooth. Combine dry ingredients, and stir into creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in chopped fruit. Turn into greased and floured 8X4 loaf pan and bake at 350 F. for 1 hour. Submitted by Nancy MacCallum, Charlottetown, P.E.I.
