1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 cups flour
Preheat oven to 325 F. Sift dry ingredients over butter . Whip at low speed until blended, then on high speed until mixture is like whipped cream. Drop by small teaspoon on baking sheet. Dot with a cherry. Bake for 20 minutes watching carefully.
