2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour - 550 mL
3/4 tsp baking soda - 3 mL
1/4 tsp salt - 1 mL
1 cup canola Harvest margarine - 250 mL
1/2 cup granulated sugar - 125 mL
1/2 cup packed brown sugar - 125 mL
1 egg - 1
1 1/2 tsp grated orange rind - 7 mL
1 (225 g) pkg Chipits white chocolate chips - 1
1/4 cup reserved Chipits white chocolate chips - 50 mL
1/4 cup Chipits - semi-sweet chocolate chips - 50 mL
Combine: flour, baking soda and salt. Cream margarine, sugars, egg and rind in large mixing bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients; mix well. If desired, reserve 1/4 cup (50 mL) Chipits for drizzle. Stir remaining Chipits into dough. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto baking sheets sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake at 350 F (180 C) for 10-15 minutes, or until golden around the edges. Cool 5 minutes, then remove to rack to cool completely. To decorate, if desired, melt Chipits in separate bowls. Drizzle over cookies. Let set. TIP: if no drizzle is desired, stir entire package of white chips into dough.
