3/4 cup butter
5 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. ice water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1 cup chipped pecans or walnuts
2 cups sifted pastry flour
Cream butter; add sugar; cream again. Add other ingredients. Add flour last. Mix well together. Take small piece and pinch into crescent shape. Bake in slow over 40 min. Roll in fruit sugar while warm.
