5 squares semi-sweet chocolate
4 tbsp. icing sugar
4 egg yolks
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
1/2 lb. fruit (cherries, pineapple, mixed peel)
Soak fruit in a small amount of liquor, enough to moisten well. Crush cookies, melt chocolate and add to it slightly beaten egg yolks, sugar and butter. Add crushed cookies and fruit, stir well. Put mixture in refrigerator for several hours. On a sheet of tin foil approximately 12x16, roll mixture in log shapes. Using tines of fork, lines may be drawn on to simulate bark on a log.
