1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cups grated zucchini
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup sour milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Mix in usual manner. Makes 18 muffins.
Topping:
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup crushed walnuts
Bake at 350 oven for 20 minutes.
