This 86.0 km stretch of the Confederation Trail begins in Kensington and goes to Mount Stewart.
The trail passes through Hunter River which has several services available including a gas station, library and post office.
The trail branches off in Royalty Junction and goes to downtown Charlottetown.
The Hillsbourough River, a heritage river, runs parallel to the trail. There is a monument for the river in Scotchford.
There is an Eco-Centre in Mount Stewart, as well as several restaurants and services for trail users.
