Were you born in PEI or are you an Islander by choice?
Yes, I was born in Summerside PEI and now live in Alberton! I go to university off island, but always come back for summer vacations!
Describe what an average day looks like for you?
An average summer day for me would be to wake up early and head to the gym before going into work at the information center where I’m greeted daily by so many interesting people from all over! After work I’ll spend evenings with friends or family. On my days off I typically spend time at the beach or boating with family.
What is your favourite thing about life in PEI?
My favorite thing about PEI would 100% be the friendly faces. No matter where you are on the Island you’ll never feel stranded or without help as everyone is so welcoming and eager to talk!
What is something people wouldn't know if they're not from the island?
We’re known for our agriculture due to the red dirt. Our red dirt is formed from excess iron in our soil!
If you had to choose one spot on the island to take someone who has never been here, where would it be?
I would take a new visitor to West Point, where they could take a tour up the lighthouse museum and enjoy the spectacular views from the top, and then grab some lunch at The Catch on the wharf followed by some clam digging at low tide on the beach!
