Hey Toni!

Thank you for reaching out to Ask An Islander. You’re in luck as there are quite a few options available! I’ll give you my top 5 for now but one of the best things to do as well is to walk the historic downtown area and find the hidden gems - sidewalk signs and busy spots usually signal a good thing.

In no particular order:

Slaymaker & Nichols - $3 off cocktails and 50% off apps Tuesday-Sunday  from 2pm-5pm. Lovely spot with great decor, great cocktails and great shareable apps.

Cork & Cast - discounted food and drinks every day between 2pm-4pm. Great spot on Victoria Row with a cozy patio and fun interior.

Oyster Hours at Merchantman - 10 oysters for $20 between 2pm-4pm and 8pm-close every day. All year round too! This place is busy so the oysters are always fresh.

Gahan House - Half Shells and Half Pints - 6 oysters and 2 12oz beers for $25. Legendary local brew pub with great beer.

John Brown Grille - Half priced mussels every day from 2pm-4pm. Can’t beat that anywhere.

Hope that helps!
