Corn Flake Macaroons
2 egg whites
½ cup white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups corn flakes or rice flakes
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Add sugar and salt gradually, beating all the time, and then add vanilla. Fold in coconut and corn flakes. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 F 15-20 minutes.
