visiting the island the end of September thru first week of October, any ceilidh to attend, best place for lobster and mussels? Where is the best places to visit to experience the music of the island thanks so much for taking the time to answer We can't wait to visit this is our second trip to the island since we honeymooned there in 2005.
Hi, Patty, Your answer to my question on bloom time of the lupins is perfect, but what I most appreciated was the tip on the Black Marsh Trail. I'm hoping we can see some pitcher plants like on the Bruce Peninsula, ON. We are staying centrally near Brackley Beach for the week. I'm thinking we could spend a day in Charlottetown, a couple of days up by Brackley, a day in Summerside, the Acadian Museum, the bottle house and maybe potato museum, a day in Tignish and North Cape, a day in Greenwich and points east. We have been to PEI twice but the last time 21 years ago.
Looking to possibly visit PEI this summer. We are a family of 5, with children being 21, 19, and 19. Boys love to play golf, and daughter loves the beach. We love to hike as a family too. What is the best way to plan a 6-7 night trip which would include these 3 activities, and ideas of where to stay. We like high end resorts or houses that do not require use to bring sheets and towels. We hate camping. Not really interested in visiting Green Gables. We do love good restaurants. Would have to fly in and rent a car. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are planning a 6 day visit to the Island in early September 2018. What are the must see spots and activities that we should include in our trip?
My friends and I would like to visit when fall colors are at their height in 2018. What time frame would be best to consider? Thank you!
Why is June an off time to visit PEI? Will we still be able to eat fresh clams - lobsters - etc. Will there still be places to visit? Or is it an off season for a reason?
