Roma at Three Rivers National Historic Site

Encounter the life and times of the 1730s. Step back in time with the interpretive guides and in the spirit of the time, try period dress on yourself! Walk the French heritage garden. Play with children's toys and games of the 1700s. Savour a daily heritage lunch or afternoon tea featuring bread made in the outdoor oven to accompany our soups, seafood chowder and heritage dessert. Hike the trails and head to Roma's point to see three Canadian heritage rivers converge. Plan to attend our Heritage Chocolate Festival on August 2-3 celebrating Jean Pierre Roma being the first to bring chocolate from the West Indies to PEI. Roma, the trader, established one of the first French settlements on PEI primarily to fish cod which he dried and salted to send back to France.

Daily, 10 am-5 pm.
