As the snow melts the colours of the Island begin to pop! The bright red soil and green fields. In late spring we see bright lupins line the roadside, and tulips are everywhere.

Spring Farm Field

We love the spring, not only because lobster season kicks off in May, but also because it marks the beginning of our theatre season! You will see some of the best productions in Canada on this Island. If you’re looking to spend time outdoors, hike the trails, hit the greens, or get cycling along the Confederation Trail.

Seasonal shops and restaurants open in the spring. Farmers are tilling the red soil, fishers are casting their nets, and chefs are preparing your next great meal! Get ready for a taste of Island flavour.
